There is nothing more disappointing than taking time away from your busy schedule to come in and see us, only to have to wait well past your appointment time. It can be frustrating for you to take your child out of school or take time off of work for a dental appointment but it’s infuriating when you’re forced to wait to accommodate the doctor’s schedule because he or she is falling behind. Your NW Distinctive Dental team is committed to serving you within 10 minutes or sooner of your appointment time. While this is a challenge, we are committed to respecting your valuable time.

No Pain

One thing that is extremely important to us is making your dental experience the best you’ve ever had. Our team is dedicated to a “no pain policy” for our patients. That means, we are devoted to making you feel comfortable starting from your first phone call, insurance questions and especially during any necessary treatment. If you feel any discomfort at any time, during any part of your experience with us, we will stop and take the time to make you feel comfortable again. We understand this is one of the largest concerns you may have when coming to the dentist and we want you to feel the difference.

No Lectures

There is nothing worse than being lectured to. It is not uncommon for us to hear horror stories from our patients about being lectured to by their past dental providers. We are not focused on the past. We help you look to the future. We will not lecture you. Quite to the contrary. It is our hope that we could work with you, to share with you, on how to care for your teeth, gums, and smile so that you will be fully informed about the treatment you want and need. We will not pressure you to accept the treatment we recommend, the choice is entirely yours. We provide you options and you make the decision. We will perform the work on your time frame, not ours.

Same Day Emergency Visits

You can rest assured that if you’re having a problem, The Nutter and Wilson Family Dentistry Team is here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are committed to seeing you on the same day of any emergency. If for any reason we cannot get you in, we will find a provider in the local area who can.

Free Second Opinions

If for any reason you are not sure whether the treatment that has been recommended by your current dentist is right for you, will provide you with a second opinion for free. We will even compare our fees with what has been quoted, so you can see a realistic cost range. If you desire to have us do the work, we can help you with that or we can call your regular dentist and help explain what you decided to do after receiving our information. Our only goal is to give you the answers to the questions you have and improve your dental health.

Multimedia Patient Education which is intended to fully inform you about dental diagnoses, procedures, and alternatives to treatment. Multimedia patient education allows you to feel fully informed about your treatment options.

Intraoral Camera, the aim of which, is to allow you to see areas of your mouth that have problems. Intraoral cameras provide you with the ability to see for yourself, cracked teeth, swollen gums, cavities, worn restorations, and plaque buildup.

Digital X-rays that reduce radiation by as much as 90% over that of traditional film are developed within seconds and allow you to see exactly what the doctor sees directly on the computer screen. Now when the doctor says you have bone loss, cavities, or damaged roots, you can see them for yourself.

Patient Communications Software which is designed to keep in contact with you is an important component to patient care. That means you will receive automated appointment reminders via email, text messages, phone calls or postcards. This sophisticated software will send automated “Save the Date” emails so that you can be assured of making all appointments. The CEREC Cad Cam System is intended to save you the time of having return for a subsequent dental visit to complete a procedure. Crowns, Veneers, and Onlays typically take two dental visits to complete. However, with the Cerec Cad Cam system, these procedures can be done in one visit producing instant results. A Cerec restoration can give you a more natural match to the rest of your teeth, and the composite materials used by the NW Distinctive Dental Team will look and feel just like your other teeth.
